For asylum seekers and refugees, music can be freedom.

We deliver music and creative workshops for refugees and asylum seekers, helping people feel valued, heard and connected in deeply isolating circumstances. We also provide practical and emotional support to people as they navigate the asylum system. Through our community exchange programmes, we help to build bridges between migrants and local communities, shift public attitudes, promote social inclusion, and support individuals to grow personally and creatively in the face of hostility.

Music changed everything for Pilo

Locked in immigration detention for five months, Pilo found strength through a red Yamaha bass guitar. When he picked it up and started playing in one of our workshops, he tells us he felt free, happy and human again.

Together, we make music and joy

Music is part of being human. It unites us all, across every culture. When your body is trapped, music can set the mind free. Through music we find a new way to express ourselves, our individuality, and tell our story.
